**The wind whispers past me, letting me know that November has come. The light breeze adds a chill to the air and rustles the trees. I watch as children play outside and mothers close the windows tight, keeping out the cold. I pull my cardigan tightly around me and briskly walk back to my cottage which always radiates a certain warmth. I hold my book under my cardigan to keep myself bundled and warm.**

Another month has started, which means that we can get into my monthly TBR. As always, I am adding more books than I know I will read, but I like to have options. For this one, I actually plan to have seven books so I can account for the ones I am already reading in hopes that I will finish soon.

The first book on my TBR is my current read, which is The Bad Ones by Melissa Albert. This is about a girl whose friend goes missing along with three other people from their town, and it has something to do with a game that they used to play when they were younger about goddesses. I finally started this one and am about 140 pages into it so far. As much as I would love to share my thoughts so far, I’m going to wait for either a review or my wrap-up at the end of the month.

In the same boat we have Opposition by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I have been reading this since August, and it’s finally time to sit and finish it. I have described this series a hundred times before, but it’s a ya alien series. This is the last book and I really need to just finish it.

Next up is Forging Silver Into Stars by Brigid Kemmerer. This is set in the same world as the Cursebreakers series following different characters. That’s all I really know and I hope to keep it that way until I start. This is a book that seems like a great read for either November or December, and with the sequel releasing in January, I want to read it soon.

My next pick is The Grandest Game by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, another book I associate with November or December for some reason. This is set in the world of The Inheritance Games after the original series. I’m not going to leave a summary just in case anyone doesn’t want to know since it is set in the world.

While I really want to get to this one, it is a lower priority, but The Voyage of the Dawn Treader by C.S.Lewis. This is the fifth book in the Narnia series if we are looking at the recommended order. I haven’t continued on in the series in a month or two, so I really need to continue.

Next is Where the Dark Stands Still by A.B. Poranek. I got this book several months ago and it seems great for November/December. It deals with the woods, magic, monsters, and manors. I am very intrigued by this one and can’t wait to see what I think. I also really like the cover of this one.

Last but not least is Wild Bond by Laurie Ford. This is an indie published book I found that deals with dragons, and since I wanted to try a dragon book other than Fourth Wing, I decided to pick this up. Our main character is a thief and ends up bonding with a dragon. It seems like it has potential, so I am very excited to get to it soon.

Those are all of my options for my November TBR. I really hope to get to some of these books this month. A lot of them seem to correlate with November in my mind, so I hope to read a lot this month. Let me know any books that you have on your November TBR.

xoxo,
