**What to read, what to read. I decided to take an early look into what I can read for the next month. Reading has been a bit slow, but I want to make more time for it and get through my books. I take a look at my shelves and pick out a few that I think would make great April reads.**
I am currently in the middle of two books that I hope to finish by the end of the month. I do think I will be able to finish them both, so I needed to look at my TBR to see what other books I can read next month. I actually don’t know what to choose yet, so I am going to go through as I write this out.
- A Tournament of Crowns by Elise Kova
This is a series that I have been reading pretty slowly, so I want to continue it this year and try to get farther in. This series deals with elemental magic and follows a girl with ice powers who enters a series of trials. I really enjoyed the first two books and need to continue on.
- The Reckoning of Roku by Randy Ribay
I have loved Avatar: The Last Airbender for many years now and I have seen that there were Avatar books out, starting with ones about Kyoshi. I wasn’t really interested in the other ones, but when I saw that Roku had books, I wanted to try them out. I’m excited to try this book out and try something new from the Avatar universe.
- Carving Shadows Into Gold OR Thicker Than Water by Brigid Kemmerer
As everyone probably knows by now, I love Brigid Kemmerer’s writing and will probably read everything she puts out. I would love to read another of her books next month, but I’m not quite sure which one yet, so I decided to just put both on my April TBR for now.
- Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros
This is the third book in the Fourth Wing series, an adult fantasy with dragons. I really enjoyed the first two books when I read them last year, so I really need to get to this latest installment. I’m very interested to see where the story goes and what happens next for the characters.
- Queens of Geek by Jen Wilde
For my final book, I think I’m going to go with Queens of Geek. I love convention settings and have wanted to read this one for quite a while now. It follows three friends who go to a convention and I am very excited to read it. I kept debating whether or not I should read it in summer, but I think I want to read it soon.
I always have a hard time picking my TBR each month, but I do enjoy writing the posts still. What books are on your own April TBR?
xoxo,
Just another reader
