**The garden grows bright flowers and the grass that hugs the path to my little cottage grows higher with every passing day. I walk through the grass and take it all in; my little cottage where I can spend my days reading and the wildflowers that grow around it. I continue my path and take a walk in the woods not too far away and listen for the singing birds. I eventually find my way back home, go in the door, and take a seat. Now this is home.**

Wow! I can’t believe we’re celebrating one full year of bookishcore already! It feels like not that long ago I was debating even starting a blog, and now we’re a year and almost 100 posts in.

I was trying to think of some fun ways to celebrate and finally decided that in honor of one full year of blogging, I will post every day this week (Mon-Fri). I have a few post ideas that I want to start working on, but I would love to hear if any of you have posts that you would like to see from me. Please leave any ideas or things you want to see from me in the comments.

Thank you all for reading and sticking around. If you have been here for a while, welcome back and make yourself at home. If you’re new here, welcome to the cottage. Tea is in the cupboard and the bookshelves are open. Take a seat and curl up with a good book. That’s what we’re all here for. ā¤ļø

Congratulations and (a belated) welcome to the book blogging community 🄳 It’s always lovely to find new book bloggers and to see them sticking with it! I discovered your blog in the last few months and have been loving your posts. As for post ideas…I’d love to see a post about the best books you’ve found through blogging!

Thank you so much! I’m glad you’ve been enjoying my posts. That could be such a fun idea! My TBR somehow doesn’t slim down (it’s as if I just keep accumulating books . . . weird šŸ™‚ ) but I definitely need to start checking out more books recommended by other bloggers once that slims down a bit since I would love to try a post like this. Thank you for the suggestion! My research and note-taking will be starting soon āœļø
