**Books are strewn about the floor of my cottage. Colorful paperbacks are stacked one on top of the other, and some are open with scraps of paper used as bookmarks. I look through each one and return them to the shelves, keeping my current reads together on the table. The stack gets higher and higher until several books are on top of each other. I pick one up and start to read, hoping to cut down on the stack.**

Okay, so I have made the poor decision to read four books at once. This was fully an accident and not intentional, but there was a lot I wanted to read. There are two audiobooks, an e-book, and a physical book. I’m not someone who usually reads more than one book at once, so I honestly am excited to start cutting this down and finishing a few of them. But I thought it would be a fun post for today to discuss what I’m reading since there are so many books. I actually did this once before and enjoyed doing it, so let’s get into it.

A few weeks ago, I started reading Ruthless Vows by Rebecca Ross since I had read Divine Rivals. I checked out the book from the library then wasn’t getting far, so I have the audiobook now. It’s not bad, but I don’t really have an urge to read it. I think I want to try to get farther in the audiobook next week once I finish my other one. I don’t really like audiobooks, but it’s nice to have something to listen to when I’m doing other things.

I can’t remember if I started this audiobook first, but I’ve been listening to Everything I Know About Love by Dolly Alderton. I’m actually almost finished with this one and only have about 6% left, so I’m almost done. I will be discussing this more in my April wrap-up, but I’ve been listening to this as I have been working on other things, and it has allowed me to read some more nonfiction.

After I finished my last book I was reading, I started the e-book for Chasing Evil by John Edward and Robert Hilland. This one I found randomly and was intrigued by. It’s a nonfiction book about an FBI agent and his partnership with a psychic. I thought it sounded really interesting and honestly like a lot of the shows I like to watch, so I thought it would be a great nonfiction to try out. I am currently 27% through this one. It’s actually a pretty quick read. I don’t feel like I read it for long periods and can kind of fly through it.

The last book I am currently reading is Book Lovers by Emily Henry. I read this a few years ago and had the weirdest urge to re-read it. I am not someone who really re-reads anything, but I just wanted to pick it up again and made it to page 150. I’m kind of indifferent towards this book so far. The main good thing is that I don’t remember much from the story, which makes it easier to re-read. I just don’t know how I feel about it so far.

I really need to start finishing a few of these, mostly because there are so many but also because none of these are taking books off of my physical TBR, which is what I should be doing. I hope to finish most of them soon, so hopefully within the next week I can finish Everything I Know About Love, Chasing Evil, and Book Lovers. All of these will be in my April wrap-up, along with a few others (hopefully).

What are you currently reading?
